They travelled to Kaunas from 8th to 12th April as part of the international Blended Intensive Programme.
Researchers from Polytechnic Institute of Santarem visited us in Brno
This month, the Department of Sports recently had a productive meeting with esteemed colleagues from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarem, in Portugal. During our discussion, Eduardo Teixeira, Mauro Miguel and Vitor Padinha shared with us the curriculum offered in their institutions for graduate students on the football coach course.
In addition to exploring pedagogical strategies, the meeting discussed scientific topics in sports sciences, particularly focusing on mutual interests in football coaching methodologies and performance optimization. Given our department’s current emphasis on football research, the meeting served as a potential collaborative project between our Portuguese colleagues and us.
