Last week was full of international lectures

From November 18 to 22, 2024, the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University hosted another edition of the International Week, an event aimed at supporting the internationalization of education at home, specifically through the inclusion of foreign lecturers in our home study programs.

During this week, students had the opportunity to attend lessons delivered by a total of 16 foreign lecturers (14 in person and 2 online), who conducted 20 sessions, of which 16 were theoretical and 4 were practical.

A total of 368 participants took part in the International Week, creating 833 registrations, which means that each registered participant attended on average more than 2 lessons. The average attendance for individual lectures was 42 students. We are very pleased with this level of interest and we would like to thank all the attendees.

We hope you enjoyed the International Week and gained not only new factual information on specific topics but also valuable insights into studying and conducting research at foreign universities.

If you would like to attend more interesting lectures by foreign lecturers outside of the International Week, we are pleased to announce that additional foreign lecturers will visit us by the end of the year to present three more lectures and workshops. These events are intended for FSPS MU students and staff, and no registration is required.
