Popis | Almost one third of all children with advanced stage neuroblastoma (NBL) is incurable. TrkB expressing NBLs frequently have MYCN amplification and are very aggressive and often fatal tumors. Little is known about the mechanisms by which TrkB is regulated. Here, we suggest new mechanism by which TrkB could be regulated. We hypothesize that miR-190 leads to aggressive phenotype of NBL through indirect activation of TrkB pathway, whereas NEUROD1 presents link between miR-190 and TrkB pathway. |
