Confrontation of historical research in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and coordination on themes of common interest. Edition in 3 volumes as The Czech-Slovak Historical Yearbook (2008, 2009, 2010). We intend to confront the opinions of Czech and Slovak historians and their conslusions so as to encourage further cooperation to form more complete critical image of shared history. The ground part of every volume shall contain two
(at least)monographical collections of studies of Czech and Slovak historians on designed themes of shared history. Prepared themes: Our Czech-Slovak myths, Czech Slovak relations and sport, Czech and Slovak Youth in 1965-1969, Czech-Slovak relations and the army, Co-operation of Czech and Slovak intellectuals on opposition co communist totality, Learning and education in Czech-Slovak relations. The other part of each volume shall contain book reviews and news on the activities of societies of historians from the other country. Editorial board: the applicant, the joint applicants, inveited: Dr. D. Kováč (Vicepresident of the Slovakian Academy of Sciences), Dr. R. Holec (Professor of Comenius University, Bratislava), Dr,I. Kamenec (Historical Institute, Bratislava). Extend of one volume: about 400-430 printed pages, format B 5.
