The aim of the project is the complex characterization and identification of selected of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria. The study will be focused on the estimation of probiotic properties and their influence on the development of physiologicaland immunological parameters. Selected bacterial strains will be characterised using molecular biology methods. The attention will be concentrated on methods development for the selective isolation and identification of DNA from target bacteria cells presented in the gastrointestinal tract of experimental animals and in model samples of food products.
