Description In the presented study, the effects of elevated Cd concentrations and heat stress on the primary photosynthetic processes of the green algal lichen photobiont Trebouxia erici cultures were evaluated. From the results, negative synergic effect of high temperature and high cadmium concentration (1 mmol.1-1) on primary photosynthesis is apparent.
