Description Qualities of each individual are primarily determined by their genotypes. Nowadays we know genes which certainly increase the risk that their carrier became drug addicted. Today we can also find out which form of an appropriate gene was inherited by the concrete individual and then, according to the specified genotype, define with the high level of accuracy if the given individual is highly endangered by arising of pathological addiction or not. Cellular and molecular genetics give us simple, reliable and ideal tool applicable at pointed primary antidrug prevention. The paper explains connections between individual genotype and higher risk of pathological addictions and how the genotype can be defined.
