Combatives are in the Czech Republic a part of basic curriculum in the school physical education. Pupils liked combative excercises, they are joyfull and pleasant for them. From the research results, that pupils have many experiences with combatives in their spare time both in formal and informal education. Youth reflect new trends in sport. They know many martial arts and combative sports. It is indiscutable need to prevent pupils from physical attacks. Up to 41 % of pupils have personal experience with physical attack. More then 67 % of pupils were injuried in the last year, thats why teaching of combatives, especially falling techniques, in school physical education is highly recommend.
