Description | A mathematical model of peripheral blood stem cell harvest was developped, taking two new parameters - number of recruited cells and efficiency of collection - into consideration in addition to concentration and collected ammount of cells. This model was tested on 241 harvest procedures in cancer patients, donors of allogenetic PBSC, and platelet donors, using different collection procedures, with Cobe Spectra Cell separator. |
