Description Fishponds belongs to important and well-known landscape features of Czechia. The general awareness of their role and function in the landscape and their spatial distribution on almost the whole territory of Czechia, makes them also very suitable sites for field education at elementary and secondary schools. The following text deals with topics related to ponds for field education of geography and we also provide several demonstrations for its preparation, together with a possible interdisciplinary overlap.
