Description The paper starts by literature review and it deal with composition of cow´s milk and single kinds of milk other mammals. In the paper there was sorting of dairy products with stress on importance of fermented dairy products in nutrition. It was pointed to positive importance milk and dairy products in human nutrition. Possible health problems follow from consumption of milk were discussing too. The next part were focused on explanation of research of popularity and consumption of milk and dairy products in children in first extents of elementary schools in Královéhradecký country.
