New associate professors received decrees from the Rector of Masaryk University
On Friday, 8th November, 11 new associate professors from six faculties who successfully habilitated at Masaryk University received appointment decrees from Rector Martin Bareš at the ceremony in the refectory of the Mendel Museum.
The appointment decree was also accepted by Marcela Janíková from the Faculty of Sports Studies, who habilitated in the field of Kinanthropology. She specializes in topics of communication and interaction in physical education and didactic methods in teaching physical education. She presented in her habilitation thesis a successful attempt at a holistic grasp of a teacher´s development and professionalization issues with regard to the didactics of physical education and sport. She deals with all stages of development of the teaching profession from when the teacher’s personality begins to form to when the teacher is considered an expert. The basis of the presented theoretical model is the connection of the approach of professional development and professional specialization with the developmental and structural dimension based on the research already accomplished in related fields. Janíková works at the Institute for Research in School Education at the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University and at the Division of Social Sciences for Education at the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University.
