A team of self-defense experts successfully represented the faculty at the prestigious IMACSSS Conference in Malaysia

The self-defense team from the Faculty of Sports Studies MU, consisting of Dr. M. Bugala, Dr. J. R. Čihounková, and Assoc. Prof. Z. Reguli, participated in the 13th International Scientific Conference IMACSSS held in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia. In addition to their experiences with Asian flora, fauna, and culture, the participants returned with key contacts for the future development of the SEBS and ASEBS study programs. Furthermore, our academics took part in practical didactic workshops that complemented the scientific program. The presented ASEBS study program attracted significant attention due to its uniqueness, leading to a request for experts from FSpS MU to conduct a workshop on the original concept of self-defense didactics, which they have been developing at FSpS MU, at the next IMACSSS conference in July 2025 in León, Spain.
