Popis | The communities of metazoan parasites of teh four most common 0+ juvenile cyprinid fish, Rutilus rutilus, Scardinius erythrophthalmus, Rhodeus sericeus and Carassius auratus gibelio, in a flooded oxbow (River Dyje, Danube basin, Czech Republic) were analysed from June to November 1999. The majority of parasite species belonged to the Monogenea. The proportiion of monogenean and other parasites decreased with the fishh growth, because of a rapid increase of digeneans. Despite the high frequency of occurrence, the intensity of invasion was relatively low and there appeared to be no impact on the condition of small size 0+ juvenile fish. |
