Bachelor's degree in full-time form. The language of instruction is Czech.
The programme can be studied only as a single subject.
The bachelor's degree in physiotherapy is the basic, entry-level university education for physiotherapists. It is designed so that upon successful completion you will be able to implement diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive procedures and methods in the rehabilitation process of the patient.
“Do not settle for symptomatic therapy, but focus on eliminating the primary cause of the problem.”
Due to the positioning of the field of physiotherapy in the Faculty of Sports Studies, the study also focuses on all aspects of "healthy sporting", as sport itself is one of the tools of a healthy lifestyle in the primary and secondary prevention of civilisation diseases. You will be able to develop a physiotherapy plan to compensate for the unilateral sports load, which enhances the quality of the training process. Such a sport focus in physiotherapy is unique in our department - in fact, it is not a common part of the curriculum in other faculties.
Is studying the programme for you?
Answer these questions:

Would you like to fight against diseases of civilization?
Do you feel able to cope with a demanding programme of study?
Are you attracted to working with the sporting population?
Would you like to work with sports teams?
Would you like to have job security after graduation?
Then we would love to welcome you to our team.
Practical training takes place in the form of continuous internships, which you complete in healthcare facilities during each semester. Long-term 3-4 week professional practice implemented in contracted medical and spa facilities throughout the Czech Republic and abroad can be chosen by you according to your professional interest, as well as sports club.
You will then apply your knowledge and experience during practical training, where you will also have the opportunity to learn about the operation and work of a physiotherapist in professional departments and actively participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with patients.
