DNA sequencing methods are the most accurate procedures for bacterial pathogens typing. However, their routine use in microbiology is limited by cost and time. In this project we will focus on the optimization of non-sequencing methods for the typing of the most serious pathogens of healthcare associated infections from the ESKAPE group. Fast, reliable and more affordable alternative method will help to understand the epidemiological situation in the hospital and to trace the possible outbreak.
