Gender aspects of coaching
Foreign and Czech research shows that sports coaching is predominantly the domain of men, even in sports where the men and female athletes are well balanced. Experts and the sporting public agree that these woman as coaches play the same crucial role in sports as men coaches. The aim of the project is, therefore, to find out the reasons for the low representation of women among sports coaches in the Czech Republic and which circumstances could contribute to improving the gender imbalance in coaching.
