The project deals with the geomorphological study of the surroundings of three Lower Badenian localities (Hostim, Kralice, Borač) in the SE marginal part of the Czech-Moravian Highland. The aim is to recognize both the local differences and the common fe atures of their Miocene and post-Miocene development (subaeric and subaquatic processes). The investigation should also reduce the number of the hypothesis about the morphological development. The research is oriented to explain the relationship of the Badenian denudation relics to the neotectonical morphostructures. Also the relationship to the present and former river network, to the moldavite - bearing deposists, to the kaoline weathering crusts etc. are studied. The influence of the orogenetic proc esses in the Eastern Alps and in the Carpathians will be traced. The essential part of the project is the field geomorphological investigations and the geomorphological mapping. The results of the study will be presented as the reports, schematic maps of
