Description | The primary goal of this paper is to report preliminary results of a survey focused on several issues of knowledge and innovation management (KIM) of multinational corporations (MNCs) subsidiaries located in the Czech Republic. The survey has an exploratory character. The empirical analysis of the paper is based on an on-line questionnaire survey carried out in 335 subsidiaries of MNCs located in the Czech Republic. To obtain final results various statistical methods were applied: Cramérs V for measuring association between two categorical variables; Pearson Chi-square test for testing independency of two categorical variables; Odds ratio test and Fisher exact test in need of one tailed test of independence of binary variables; t-test for comparing two quantitative variables; ANOVA (and following Scheffes post hoc tests) for comparing more than two quantitative variables; Kruskall-Wallis Anova when the Anova assumptions were not met and finally tests based on Spearman Rank Order correlation for two ordinal variables. |
