Description | We introduced a method of identifying people by their typical aspects of walking. We created a data representation for the MUFIN system. We have also developed a feature metrics for assessing the similarity of two data representations. To improve the gait recognition algorithm, it will be necessary to take further steps, including the following in particular: To enhance accuracy of extraction of gait patterns. To normalize extracted gait patterns in terms of the same length and starting phase. To represent a gait pattern by more than two curves. To represent a gait pattern by other specification not only from distance-time dependency graphs but also other – velocity, acceleration or pressure distribution measuring. To measure the larger number of people in laboratory conditions and also in real situations. |
