| Description | In the paper we present selected results of an investigation conducted with children from childrens home in the last year of the compulsory school attendance. The aim was to find out the awareness of the socially disadvantaged pupils of the issue of occupational choice and analyse the reasons (their wishes and possibilities) behind the choice of school or branch. The text is supplemented with selected comments of the headmasters of these institutions. |
