| Description | This chapter presents various kinds of work focusing competitions of Russian language of highly gifted learners of Russian language teaching. After a brief description of competitions of Russian language the study deals with selected aspects of Russian language teaching and learning to highly gifted and very advanced learners at senior primary grades and in the lower grades of multiannual grammar schools in the region of South Moravia. It explores the possible relationship of students and pupils participation at such competitions for their interest and teaching Russian and results from teachers point of wiew. The chapter informs on experimental research that took place within the research project Special Needs of Pupils in the Context of the Framework Education Programme for Basic Education MSM 0021622443. |
