Text draws from qualitative research investigation and analysis of interviews with witnesses the forced eviction during World War II. It deals with the intervention to the identity of inhabitants of Drahany Highlands. This action affects personal, social and collective identity. Attention is paid to memory, an important factor in shaping our memories, our identity.
