| Description | The concept of identity, can be thought of only in terms of perception of self-esteem and self-esteem . An important factor here is the location of the individual in social life , its integration into social structures. The preservation of their identity trying to ethnic minorities in various forms , one of them is the preservation of traditions , songs and dances of their peoples through a folk dance groups. This study aims to introduce some of the dance groups of national minorities working in the city of Brno .The main aim of this paper was to present some of the dance groups of national minorities working in the city of Brno . Research questions focused on the question of how this type of activity can help build a communication bridge between ethnic minorities and the majority. This text was prepared in a qualitative research focused on perceptions of ethnic identity. We relied on data obtained by semi-structured interviews. |
