| Description | The compilation brings new findings on the field of archaeology, anthropology, history of arts and history. The topics concern various aspects of history of Bohemia, Moravia and southwest Slovakia from prehistory to contemporary history. Closer attention is given to the locality of Znojmo-Hradiště (archaeological, anthropological and genetical research of Slavic burial ground, the excavations during the 1950’s and Slavic bakery) and to the early medieval period (settlement within the river basin of middle Dyje, spectrometrical analysis of earrings from Mikulčice, iron concretions from Senec). The compilation includes also papers concerning early bronze age locality Jiříkovice, research of the church in Nebovidy, mural paintings in the basilica in Třebíč, small medieval sculptrue of horses with riders, prospection of the underground of Czech cities, citizen society in 19th century Znojmo and struggle against communist regime in Moravia. |
