Description To determine the effect of acute application of static and dynamic stretching RE and CT, we scheduled interindividual research strategy. The test sample consisted of men - athletes (n=5). We assumed that after static stretching in the warm-up phase, the values of RE during running on the ergometer at predefined speeds (the first 3 minutes at 8 km/h, in the 3rd-6th minute at 10 km/h and in the last 3 minutes at 12 km/h) would be higher than RE values measured during the same test after the warm-up with dynamic stretching. Analysis of respiratory parameters was carried by the Cortex device. Muscle and core body temperature was measured by the thermal imaging camera Fluke. The results of the survey revealed (t-test, statistical significance level 0.05) no significant differences between the values of RE and CT after the application of static and dynamic stretching.
