Description While before the French revolution specialists or entrepreneurs, particularly in textile industries, were coming to Moravia from France, after 1789 other French appeared: nobility and clergy escaping from revolutionary terror, feeling fear for their lives. These French are highly dangerous for the government as they may be latent bearers of revolutionary ideas or be suspected of espionage. This submission analyzes the laws that were adopted in the Napoleonic wars period for the purpose of treating foreigners and compares the statutory level with particular cases of French refugees in Moravia.
