Description In this chapter we discuss the theoretical background of supporting teachers in their professional development. We focus on supervision, mentoring, couching, collaborative action research and observations. We analyze the potential of video as a tool for supporting the development of reflective competences. We briefly discuss the benefits, or arguments for using video in teacher education.
