| Description | The reasons for emigration from the Czech lands in the 19th century and the first quarter of 20th century were socio-economic. It was concerned mainly with people in working age between 20 and 40 years from the cities and countryside, among which dominated the Czechs, while the Sudeten Germans formed a small part of the emigrants. |
