Description Capillary electrophoresis offers option to perform either enzymatic or non-enzymatic reactions directly inside capillary. This methodology is termed Electrophoretically Mediated Microanalysis (EMMA) which is respected thanks to indisputable benefits like negligible depletion of valuable reactant or quite simple realization. Cytochromes P450 (CYP) are from pharmacokinetic point of view one of the most studied enzymes, however classic approach for study of enzymatic activity requires relative large amount of enzymes and are not easily automated. For these reasons there was developed EMMA method for study of significant CYP isoform, CYP 2C9. As model substrate was chosen diclofenac.
