Description The paper presents juggling as a means of prevention of social-pathological behaviour in children and youth. Juggling is a creative physical activity from the field of psychomotricity which focuses not only on drill of the juggling technique, but it also enables us to develop new motor experiences and skills. By means of juggling we may follow various goals in specific groups – from the social, health or psychological areas. On the basis of the research in pupils with symptoms of specific learning disorders and behaviour disorders (Trávníková, 2008) we may recommend juggling as a suitable means in searching paths towards problematic pupils and their contacts, communication and group interaction. Juggling may be used as a relaxation means, it is a source of motivation and efforts to become unique withing a group. It also supports a healthy competitiveness in a collective. It is recommendable to combine solo juggling with group juggling in order to develop the sense of cooperation in a collective. Last but not least juggling supports the need of presentation of newly acquired skills in front of an audience, which is a positive stimulus of self-esteem and self-confidence in pupils who are often considered problematic and uneducatable because of their specific behaviour.
