Description | The article deals with cancer prevention education of children in a primary school setting. It outlines an educational preventive programme designed at Masaryk University Brno that focuses on promoting healthy life styles, especially on non-smoking; healthy diet, exercising, mental health, avoiding excessive sunlight exposure and developing life skills. It describes a survey of the programme efficiency at primary school and compares childrens perceptions of cancer before and after the targeted intervention.The sample of the research study contained 378 recepients with comparison the experimental and control group. |
