Description The aim of this article is to include martial art aikibudó in taxonomy of combative sports in their conception in kinantropology. We are finding way, how to include aikibudó in sport activities of children and youth with specification of age, functional and motor development. First part describe difference among competetive, self-defece and complex developing combative sports and define place of aikibudó in the taxonomy of combatives. Next is comparation of system of japanese martial arts budó and the modern competetive trend into sport. Second part of this article describes possibilities of aikibudó for both motor and psychic development of children and youth. We present target levels of aikibudó training, especialy control of the atacker, control of practicants mental condition and the safety of the training.
