Description Appropriate nutrition during the first two years of life is the basis of optimal growth, health and psychosocial development of children. At the beginning 2008 investigation of the infants until two years age was carried on with a questionnaire method to identified menu. New born children were mostly female sex in 56 % cases. Regular childbirth occurrence reached 82 %, aborted 16 % and prematureness 2 % of mothers. Average age of infants was 16.18 months, childbirth mass 3.31 kg and body length 49.62 cm. Survey realization showed that majority of the mothers take a good care about children's menu composition and a proper starting time of various foodstuff consummations. According to mothers also healthy environment is important. During pregnancy 2 % of the mothers smoked and on the maternity 8 % leaved smoking. In a smoky indoor 12 % pregnant mothers spent some time, half of them at home and the rest in their employment.
