Description The lamp of Brozany is of the Provoost 6 type, representing provincial imitations of North African burners made between 4th and 5th centuries. The lamp of Staré Čivice is one of the Syrian-Palestinian lamps also made between 4th and 5th centuries. Approximate dating is also possible in the case of the Hayes 1b type lamp of Slavhostice. The lamp is connected with no details about the circumstances of its discovery and no known relationship to Bohemia and comes from Kutná Hora. It was probably made sometime between 3rd and early 5th century.
