Description A case study presenting one of the research outcomes in the long term project Biology for Life and Health. The project deals with implementation of experiential learning as a basis of a teachers knowledge base in integrated didactic science teaching in a study programme Pedagogy for Primary Education at Kejbaly, a workplace of PdF MU. The model of experiential learning Floodplain Forest was prepared, realised and assessed by authors and it is presented in a master thesis as a two year programme of integrated education with aspects of project teaching? (projektové vyučování). It was experimentally realised for ŠVP with pupils of 2nd - 3rd grades at primary school in Břeclav. Research is focused on education for sustainable development and health in the context of changes in education in Europe that are based on the principle of situational and experiential learning. The article presents partial outcomes of research focused on Dynamic model of experiential learning in the project Biology for Life and Health aswering the question: How to learn in the region the integrated theme Forest with the focus on environmental education and health in the first phase of primary education?
