| Description | A new system which serves for connecting various HW devices and didactic technologies (such as interactive whiteboard) with PC is being developed at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University. This system has a name MyIMLE (My Interactive Multimedia Learning Environment). This theme can be applied not only in coastal countries, but also in inland countries because this phenomenon can appear also on reservoirs and artificial lakes. Using an interactive whiteboard together with MyIMLLE system makes possible to use and to control real simulations (aquarium that simulates tsunami controlled by PC) of the lesson topic with maximal active participation of students. Using real models together with didactic technologies in education improves the educational process and also adds new possibilities of using interactive whiteboards, which is another benefit for the education itself. It is a research into the use of these technologies not only for students with specific needs. |
