Description Main objective of contribution is analysis of development role of spatial factors in global economy conditions. Spatial factors are here interpreted on the basis of elaborated methodology of regional evaluation of quality of business environment. Performed analysis includes the following factors: factor of proximity of markets, factor of quality of roads and railways, factor of proximity of airports and factor of information and communication technologies. Practical results of analysis are presented on example of the Czech Republic (mezzo regional and micro regional level of evaluation). The main conclusion of contribution is statement of fact, that spatial factors keep their inconsiderable importance for economic development even in conditions of increasing globalization.
