Description	We analyze the political-budget cycle in the Czech republic in 1995-2007. First, we introduce the theory of the political-budget cycle. Consequently, we describe the variables of estimated model and data sources in detail. We characterize political system of the Czech republic. We outline institutional conditions which contribute to emergence of the political-budget cycle in young democracy. Empirical model confirms that czech governments tend to abuse fiscal policy in election.
