Description Substances addictions and addictive behaviors belong among the important risk factors of children and adolescents lifestyles. The preventive activities should be directed at families and later at schools. Primary and secondary schools, as well as various school institutions, can apply the minimum preventive programme as a tool for establishing, implementing and evaluating their own interventions to protect the population segment of child and adolescent population from the emergence and development of pathological addictions. Twenty six schools from Moravian region were included in a pilot study which mapped attitudes and experience of the prevention specialists and the success of the implementation of preventive activities in teaching.
