Description	The importance of cancer epidemiology is steadily increasing due to the fact that both incidence and prevalence of malignant neoplasms is growing in most of industrially advanced countries. Besides the simple quantification of numbers of patients the primary goal is to explain the causes of high population burden. This is especially true for testicular cancer which shows strong age related, geographical and racial distribution without well-understood etiology and influence of risk factors. The purpose of this chapter is to focus the epidemiology of testicular cancer in the Czech Republic and to analyse the epidemiological trends in the context of international data.
