Description | Expression profiles of peripheral blood CD34+ cells from a healthy donor and from a patient with NHL were compared by cDNA microarray technique during ex vivo granulocyte differentiation. It was found that standard differentiation expression profile of donor’s cells was different from the profile of NHL patient’s cells in terms of gene expression kinetics, counts of genes involved in granulopoiesis, and gene expression levels. The exact cause of found gene expression changes remains to be established. Ex vivo granulocyte differentiation of CD34+ cells is a well established method. Together with cDNA technology it may become a tool for evaluating physiological abnormalities within CD34+ cell population. |
