Description Pinworms (Nematoda: Oxyuridae) represent the parasite group occurring in most families and genera of the order Primates. The subfamily Enterobiinae Hugot, Gardner et Morand, 1996 includes 47 species parasitizing primates, and three species parasitizing rodents (survey in Quentin and Tenora, 1975; Hugot, 1984a,b; 1995; 1999; Hugot et al., 1996; Sorci et al., 1997; Hugot and Baylac, 2007).
