| Description | Business incubator is an instrument that should serve for development of young, and especially innovative, firms. This instrument is used on regional level for development of innovations and increasing of competitiveness. A large number of incubator founders is one of the reasons why pieces of information about incubators are so fragmented. The article summarizes information through spatial analysis of business incubators in the Czech Republic. The fundamental part of article is created by own questionnaire survey which was realized among the most important Czech incubators. This survey was focused on 6 key characteristics of business incubators: 1) basic characteristics, 2) operating services, 3) consultancy services, 4) training services, 5) financing of incubators and 6) assessment done by business incubators. |
