Description Using a foreign language, we must overcome various difficulties. This is even more demanding for pupils with communication disabilities. The paper gives a brief outline of the issue with relation to FL acquisition. In the following, it focuses on pronunciation problems in learning German that are influenced by deficiencies at phonetic-phonological level of languages. Finally, results of empirical investigation are presented.
