Description	In total, 41 strains of Lactobacillus helveticus obtained from CCDM collection was identified using combination of biotyping and genotyping (ribotyping and PCR). Biotyping did not identified reliably analysed strains while genotyping revealed to be a good tool for identification of L. helveticus strains.
