Ancient fingerprints on ceramics as well as on other printable media, partial or complete handprints or hand stencils, foot imprints or imprints of any other body parts may provide essential information on an individuals biology, e.g. age, sex, population affinity. The chapter provides an insight into the evaluation techniques and an up-to-date research status. |
