Description An action research, performed on the Department of Biology of Faculty of Education MU Brno in years 1996 2006, has shown that the basis of student teachers training should lie mostly in experiential learning, in integration of expertise with didactics and in student creativity. It seems that one of the ways is making use of action research and project teaching in science subjects as a method in which an integrated professional teaching can be pointed to the branch didactics pedagogical practice and an independent group work of students in the form of group thematic seminar theses being gradually realized in several subjects. This report presents partial outcomes of research Pedagogical Students Project: How to teach integrated thematic instruction WATER THE ESSENCE OF LIFE at different types of schools?
