Description The paper "Principles of organization of interest groups in the Czech Republic: legal rules and their changes as a result of Europeanization" seeks to find out to what extent did the process of the accession to the EU influence legal regulations concerning creation and functioning of social and political actors. Through the analysis of various statutes and their changes the paper tries to determine a role the EU plays in amending assembly legislation. Among actors under scrutiny belong political parties, organizations of professionals, labour unions and civil society organizations. The paper concludes that the most influenced field of actors was the area of chambers of professionals which was obliged to be put into conformity with the requirements of free movement of persons and services in the European Union in order to comply with the European law. The Czech Republic was quite leisurely with the harmonization of statutes with majority of them passed just before the accession to the EU.
