Description	The paper focuses on teaching and learning German to children with specific learning disorders. In addition to some theoretical considerations, the results of a research are presented here that deals with the presence of basic and most frequent issues and deficiencies to be encountered when teaching German to legasthenic children whose mother tongue is Czech.
